Does the body heal itself?
Do we need to take a ‘medicine’ or other ‘healing adjunct’ to make the body do what it is designed to do?
Biology teaches us that each and every cell has the capability of;
1. Reproduction
2. Response and
3. Repair
If each cell has the capability of repairing itself (read as healing itself) then what is our responsibility as custodians of the ‘body politic’?
Quite simply, it is to ensure that the conditions for healing are appropriate.
In other words, if we remove the causes of irritation - get out of the way and rest – the body will, in every case, make an attempt to right itself – to maintain its integrity – to return to pristine health.
That is the body’s prime directive.
All the best for your health and happiness,
